Fit & Installation

In almost every case, yes. Our cabinets install into the cavity between your drywall, so as long as there's a standard interior wall, we can build into it. We confirm exact fit during your free evaluation.

Slightly. Because it's built into the wall cavity rather than sitting flush, it projects about 1.5 inches off the surface — the same presence as a framed picture hanging on the wall. It reads as an architectural detail, not a bulky add-on.

No. We work within existing interior partition walls and never reroute plumbing or electrical — that's a big part of how we keep install to one day with minimal disruption.

We don't touch electrical wires or plumbing — we work around them. We create a groove in the cabinet so the pipes and wires run through it, then build a box around them to keep everything protected and code-compliant.

Yes, if there's wiring behind the wall — and there often is — the usable space inside the cabinet typically reduces by the equivalent of one or two shelves. We'll know for certain once we open the wall.

Typically, no. We take extra precaution to avoid damaging the wall behind the cabinet. Because we're cutting near a few drywall screws, the vibration may reveal existing screw marks — we patch those surfaces, but we don't repaint the wall unless you'd like that as an extra service.

One day, start to finish, for a standard install.

We are. Before we leave at the end of the day, we clean up the area to a very good standard.

Many strata corporations are comfortable with this kind of install since it doesn't touch common property, plumbing, or electrical. We recommend checking with your strata council or property manager before booking — we're happy to provide documentation to help that conversation along.

Product

PantryBuddy is our 30" kitchen and pantry cabinet — jars, packaged goods, even wine and glassware. ButlerHelper is a 14" cabinet built exclusively for cleaning essentials — broom, mop, and supplies, sized for the tightest available space. StylistAssistant is the same 30" cabinet as PantryBuddy, built instead for your wardrobe — shoes, bags, and accessories, beside your existing closet or by the front door.

Up to 10 shelves for PantryBuddy, up to 4 shelves plus full-length broom and mop storage for ButlerHelper, and up to 16 shelves for StylistAssistant. If you need more, we'll be happy to provide you with more.

Yes — shelf spacing is adjustable to fit your preference.

The cabinet box is made from plywood, not MDF. Plywood is significantly stronger than MDF and enhances the structural integrity of your wall.

The standard door is a premium white-gloss finish with a push-open mechanism — no handles to catch or show wear. The material and colour as well as the push-open were chosen specifically to sit quietly in the background, and it wipes clean easily.

We recommend starting with PantryBuddy — you'll almost immediately wonder how you ever lived without it. If you have the space, we suggest adding as many in-wall cabinets as you can; it makes condo living considerably more enjoyable.

Cost & Value

PantryBuddy and StylistAssistant are $2,850 installed, all-inclusive — labour, materials, and a 5-year warranty. ButlerHelper is $1,975 installed on the same all-inclusive basis. Custom solutions are available outside these standard premium packages.

Everything — installation, labour, materials, and a 5-year warranty, with no hidden add-ons for a standard install.

50% due at the time of order, 50% before installation begins. If you're on a payment plan, those payments are managed by our financing partner.

In-wall cabinets for condos is all we do. The engineering design, cabinet construction, our business processes, and the people we hire are all built around specialization and lower costs — and we pass those savings on to you.

Built-in storage is generally viewed as a genuine upgrade rather than furniture that leaves with you — it's designed to stay with the home and support how a buyer or appraiser sees the space. Buyers almost always choose the condo unit with extra storage space, when all else is similar.

Optional payment plans will be available soon, with terms of 4, 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 months. Contact us for current options in the meantime.
